Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). It’s a day to highlight the importance of digital inclusion. At Disability Equality Scotland, accessibility is central to everything we do.

Disability Equality Scotland has won the HeX Productions Accessible Website Competition!

HeX Productions is a digital agency that specialises in accessibility. Their competition offered organisations the chance to have a new, accessible website built from the ground up. We are proud to have been chosen as the winner.

As part of this exciting partnership, HeX will design and build a brand new website for us. It will be:

• Fully accessible, following the highest standards

• Easy to use, with clear design and navigation

• Reflective of our values, showing our commitment to equality and inclusion

This is a brilliant opportunity to enhance our digital presence. A well-designed website means more people can access the information and services they need. It also helps us amplify the voices of disabled people across Scotland.
