Have Your Say: Scottish Parliament Election 2026 Postal Voting Survey

Disability Equality Scotland is running a short survey to understand what it was like to vote by post. Your feedback will help improve how elections are run in the future, making sure everyone can take part as easily and independently as possible.

What is the survey about?

A postal vote means you receive your voting pack by post, fill it in at home, and send it back before election day. This means you do not have to go to a polling station.

We want to know:

• How easy or difficult it was to vote by post
• Whether the instructions were clear
• If you faced any problems or barriers
• What could be improved for future elections

Why your feedback matters

Voting is an important way to have your voice heard. In the Scottish Parliament election, people across Scotland vote to choose Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs), who help make decisions and laws.

By sharing your experience, you can help make voting more accessible for everyone.

Your answers will not ask which party you voted for. That is private. This survey is only about your experience of voting by post.

You should fill in this survey if:

• You voted in the 2026 Scottish Parliament election
• You used a postal vote
